From Mack Wilberg’s exquisitely crafted carols like “The First Nowell” and “Joy to the World!” to the mesmerizing jazz-infused Nutcracker Mini Suite, this performance promises an enchanting musical experience. Joined by the mesmerizing vocals of Shayna Steele and a heartwarming narration of “The Night Before Christmas,” this delightful program will immerse you in the spirit of Christmas, creating cherished memories for all. In this unique special, Rick Steves – America's leading authority on European travel – plays musical tour guide and utilizes his extensive knowledge of European history and culture to help set the context for each piece. Then, the orchestra performs a selection of stirring 19th-century anthems by Romantic-era composers. The music is accompanied by a montage of evocative video images from each country.

Bob Bernhardt always creates a jolly holiday atmosphere and this year he is joined by the impressive vocal talents of Shayna Steele. She has made her mark as an in-demand vocalist in the studio and on the stage.  It’s so special, even Santa is coming!
