Our second Salon, Les Parisiennes , focuses on the women composers trailblazing during the years of the Parisian Belle époque, with songs that broke barriers, pushing past the domestic confines of Paris’ salons to the city’s grand, public concert halls. The program includes works by Cecile Chaminade, Pauline Viardot , and Nadia and Lili Boulanger, performed by Nicholas Phan, plus soprano, mezzo-soprano and piano.
