Pianist Christina Galisatus’ compositional talents and brilliant jazz piano chops are capturing the attention of the jazz world beyond the Bay Area. Christina and her band will play her original compositions from her recent and upcoming releases. Well-known to all the SJW family, Steven Lugerner has developed a unique voice as an improviser and an unmistakable style as a bandleader — and as an entrepreneur, heading up the up-and-coming record label, Slow and Steady Records. His SLUGish Ensemble will be celebrating the release of a new album and performing new music from another upcoming fall release.
