The Selma Moidel Smith Recital series celebrates and honors former UCLA music student Selma Moidel Smith while awarding a School of Music composition student each year. This year's recipient is Andreas Foivos Apostolou. Andreas presents contemporary works highlighting elements of post-tonal, jazz and experimental music. His performance exposes the full range of the modern grand piano and unconventional techniques.
