The Lobero Theatre Chamber Music Project carries on the tradition of camaraderie and excellence that first began in 1977 with the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, led for over thirty years by Heiichiro Ohyama. Many of us enjoyed and supported these high-quality chamber music concerts for decades. And now, that legacy continues… After an almost 3-year hiatus, our community’s renowned music director/conductor/violist, Maestro Ohyama, returns to the Lobero for a stellar evening of music by an artfully curated chamber ensemble.
