Mozart Requiem

Although Mozart didn’t dictate his Requiem to Salieri from his deathbed as depicted so dramatically in the film Amadeus, the younger composer was indeed gravely ill and did not live to finish this beloved masterpiece. But what does remain is such glorious music that we can’t do without it. Our Hungarian guests and their marvelous music director take their leave sharing one of the greatest of all Requiem settings.
