Prepare to be captivated by the extraordinary talent of Grigorios Zamparas, a pianist whose sensational performances have earned him international acclaim. Praised by critics for his “formidable technique” and “crisp, fluent” playing, Zamparas has dazzled audiences worldwide in prestigious venues and festivals, including the Newport Music Festival and Mainly Mozart Festival. As a soloist, he has performed with renowned orchestras such as the Porto Alegre Symphony Orchestra, Boston Neo-Politan Chamber Orchestra, and the Bohuslav Martinu Philharmonic.

In partnership with the FRIENDS OF CHAMBER MUSIC OF MIAMI, the WERTHEIM SCHOOL OF MUSIC & PERFORMING ARTS proudly presents Stephen Hough on piano. Named by The Economist as one of Twenty Living Polymaths, Hough was the first classical performer to be awarded a MacArthur Fellowship (2001). He was awarded Northwestern University’s 2008 Jean Gimbel Lane Prize in Piano, won the Royal Philharmonic Society Instrumentalist Award in 2010, and in 2016 was made an Honorary Member of RPS. In 2014 he was made a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) and was knighted in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in 2022.

They have been said to create 'an arresting symbiosis in their melding of voice and trumpet timbres' (Textura) and that the 'trumpet and voice seem to take on one another's qualities' (Bandcamp Daily).

Hershberger's illustrious career has taken him across North America, Europe, and Asia, with standout performances at the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, and Benaroya Hall. He has graced the stages of renowned European festivals, including the Amalfi Coast Music Festival and the South Bohemia Music Festival, and has toured extensively in China, captivating audiences with his virtuosity and depth.

Immerse yourself in a mesmerizing journey through song as the FIU Choirs present "A Day’s Journey: Songs of Sun, Sky, and Shadows." This performance, under the masterful direction of Dr. Alicia Romero-Sardiñas and Dr. Erynn Millard, features a rich tapestry of choral works that explore the beauty and complexity of the human experience through the lens of nature and light. The evening highlights the ethereal sounds of Faure’s "In Paradisum" and "Libera Me" from his Requiem, performed by the Combined Choirs.
