Teen Performance Workshop is a week-long vocal intensive where high school students learn, stage, and perform songs and scenes from the vast classical repertoire. Participants will have the opportunity to develop their vocal and theatrical skills all while learning more about the art form of opera in a fun, supportive environment. The week culminates in public performances at the Opera Center. No prior musical or theatrical experience is necessary.

Concerto in E-flat (“Dumbarton Oaks”) is one of Stravinsky’s two chamber concertos. Stravinsky’s Octet for Wind Instruments is scored for an unusual combination of woodwind and brass.
