4. 999
were first conceived in late 1976 when Nick Cash (vocals/guitar) and Guy Days (vocals/lead guitar), who were at school together, decided to form a group. Within a couple of months they had teamed up with Jon Watson (bass) and Pablo Labritain (drums) and 999 were officially born. Their first gig was at the Northampton Cricket Club in January 1977. Interest in the band was immediate and constant gigging around London brought with it critical acclaim and a hard core following of supporters from Southall, calling themselves “The Crew”. These ranks were soon swollen by the Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Munich, Vienna, Zagreb, Stockholm, Oslo, Berlin, New York, LA, Toronto, Philadelphia, and San Francisco “Crews” each proving as dedicated as the last.

7. Lou Conran: Tangent
Comedy is a serious business these days, and you absolutely won’t find that here. With a mind that ricochets more than a drunk at a wedding, this show is full of stories, and silliness, most of it planned, some of it …well, who knows? Described as “Masterful at owning a room” she skilfully weaves her naturally funny ways into a fabulous show. Her usual waffles can be heard on her podcasts “How’s Your Week Been?” and “Spit or Swallow”. She’s a regular tour support for Sarah Millican and host of BBC R4 Extra’s Comedy Club and a regular guest on Times Radio. With support from the G.C both mentally and physically this show proves certain to be a joyous (not for the faint hearted) occasion

9. Bernard Butler
Bernard Butler has been noted as one of Britain’s most original and influential musicians. In 1989 he formed Suede releasing the Mercury winning No.1 debut “Suede” and the era-defining “Dog Man Star”, a sprawling concept of rare ambition. His collaboration with David McAlmont on the anthemic ”Yes” provided an intriguing footprint across Britpop’s otherwise jingoist landscape culminating in 2 albums and a sell out at London’s Roundhouse in 2015.
