A Spectrum of Cultural Events at The Courtyard Hereford
The Courtyard Hereford is setting the stage for an array of cultural events, offering everything from nostalgic musical nights and ballet performances to enlightening sessions on dementia awareness. Over the coming months, The Courtyard will host a variety of events including the Dementia Friends Information Sessions, The Courtyard’s Spectacular Tea Party, and a unique silent film concert with the Orchestra of the Swan. Each event aims to engage and entertain, while also promoting important social messages and community involvement.
As part of our commitment to making Hereford more dementia friendly, we offer monthly Dementia Friends Information Sessions here at The Courtyard.
These sessions are for everyone whether you are directly impacted by dementia or not, anyone can be a Dementia Friend. You’ll learn a little about dementia, understanding the condition and how it impacts those that live with it as well as ways you can help.
Hosted by Rachel Freeman from Everybody Dance, this fun and nostalgic dementia friendly event will brighten up anyone’s day. Filled with music, tea, cakes and dancing, plus students from HCA to dance with!

Following a string of awe-inspiring Live in HD performances, Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen returns to the MET" class="css-u850" data-mark-multiple="true">Metropolitan Opera as Leonore, the faithful wife who risks everything to save her husband from the clutches of tyranny in Beethoven’s Fidelio.
