1. urban string "tarab"
In Arabic and Persian culture, people speak of "tarab" when music completely takes hold of the body, turns up the emotions, opens a door: into rapture, ecstasy, into other worlds. Worlds between day and night, past and future, here and elsewhere. An evening of intoxication - with Mozart, Transylvanian cantatas, Kurdish traditions and an octave in 31 steps.

6. urban string »weather«
In Michael Gordon's opera, forces of nature, thunder, storms and composed warning signals create a soundscape that makes the resonance chamber tremble. Luisa Neubauer and a vertical orchestra address the burning questions of our time. They interweave climate protection and Beethoven, social commitment and poetry. "Act. As if everything is at stake!"

8. Liedstadt & Ensemble Resonanz
Mais Harb, Hêja Netirk and Julian Prégardien - three first-class singers share their favorite songs and reinterpret them together with the musicians from Ensemble Resonanz and guests. Experimental, Kurdish music by Hêja Netirk meets Franz Schubert sung by Julian Prégardien. Mais Harb's Arabic songs resound in a fresh string sound. Melodies from Germany, Kurdistan, Syria, Austria and Iran combine with the support of the children's choir of the Al-Farabi Music Academy to create a real Berlin song recital. Also present: Faleh Khaless, Deniz Mahir Kartal and Hogir Göregen.

9. Mercy seat - winter journey
The actor Charly Hübner and the Ensemble Resonanz, complemented by a jazz trio consisting of Kalle Kalima, Carlos Bica and Max Andrzejewski, let the world of Schubert's "Winterreise" meet the songs of the Australian poet and singer Nick Cave. The spirits of this séance speak of unhappy love. Of pain. Of guilt. Of failure. Of loneliness. Of great failure and of death. No place, nowhere. Or: All beauty must die...
