Proof, was inspired by the real-life story of John Nash (A Beautiful Mind). It won the 2001 Pulitzer prize for Drama and the 2001 Tony Award for Best Play. Directed by our very own, Jessie Drollette, Proof explores concepts related to mental health conditions, genius, trust, faith, and family dysfunction.
Beautiful is the inspiring tale about a girl who became King with a stirring book by the late Oscar and Tony-nominated Douglas McGrath and the music and lyrics of icons Carole King, Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil.
In the Heights is a musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan. To honor the authors’ vision and to clearly and appropriately tell the story, the roles will be cast according to the character definitions as written in the script. Directed by Felipe Garcia, choreography by Gene Tapia, and music direction by Xavier Jaramillo
