This enchanting concert features Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov’s music inspired by Sheherezade’s tales of hordes of thieves, caves of treasure, and magic lamps from 1001 Arabian Nights. We are joined by our talented Youth Orchestra for Bela Keler’s Lustspiel Overture and Symphonic Choir for a series of popular opera choruses.

3. Mahler 2
Grant’s final season conducting the Great Falls Symphony hits a crescendo with Mahler’s glorious Symphony No. 2, known as ‘Resurrection.’ Two fabulous soloists and our Symphonic Choir will help Grant close out his tenure with this favorite symphonic work from his teenage years. Join us for a reception after the concert to wish our Maestro a fond farewell.
