1. Grossman Ensemble – Form & Figure

The Grossman Ensemble, in residence at the Chicago Center for Contemporary Composition, begins the 2025-26 concert season by adding four new works to its already impressive roster of 75 world premieres. Conductor Micah Gleason leads premieres by composers Kay Rhie, Ryan Chase, Mikel Kuehn, and Inés Thiebaut in a dynamic performance showcasing diverse and complex sonic worlds.

2. Grossman Ensemble – Woven Light

Known for their “precision” in presenting “marvelous, unexpected” (Third Coast Review) performances, the Grossman Ensemble culminates a nine-week workshop-rehearsal cycle with the premieres of four works hot off the press. Conductor David Bloom conducts new music created in collaboration with composers Theo Chandler, Kyong Mee Choi, Phil Pierick, and David W. Sanford.
