Four ensembles of the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestras come together with nearly 100 students from Communities In Schools' Jump Start Strings program for an epic performance featuring over 200 young musicians! Over 100 voices from the Chorus and guest star vocalists join the Symphony in Jacoby Symphony Hall for Mozart's Requiem. Closing the evening is Copland's landmark Third Symphony, capturing the spirit of America with patriotic orchestration. Also in the lineup is the third world premiere of the season with Carlos Simon’s Zodiak: a bold, new Jacksonville Symphony commission.
