2. Jack & The Beanstalk (2024 Pantomime)
This year's GIANT family pantomime is Jack and the Beanstalk, starring Lichfield's legendary Dame Sam Rabone, returning favourite Ben Thornton, and our fabulous fairy, Gill Jordan!
Once again, the show will be written by Paul Hendy and produced in partnership with Evolution, the same team behind eight years of smash hit pantomimes!

5. Christmas Present & Correct
Herbert Richards plays all the roles in The Cavalry, the hit radio show his sister, Dorothy, writes. But when Wyllis Guthrie, from their US network, makes an unprecedented appearance at their little studio during the recording of the Christmas special, Herbert freaks out because he claims a fraudulent salary as each ‘actor’ which could ruin the siblings’ career. Throw in a mysterious aspiring actor and the fact Wyllis is keeping secrets of his own and you have all the ingredients for a classic Christmas caper.

This Christmas, we're celebrating with a special visit from Santa… he’s made time in his busy schedule to host a special show for all the boys and girls at the Lichfield Garrick Radio Station!
The stage is set for the live broadcast, so get ready for a delightful 45-minute experience filled with festive fun, enchanting stories narrated by Santa himself (with the help of his cheeky elf, Jingle), and heartwarming songs that will get you in the Christmas spirit – it’s the perfect way to introduce your little ones to the wonders of live theatre!

7. RBO: The Nutcracker (Live Recording)
Join Clara at a delightful Christmas Eve party that becomes a magical adventure once everyone else is tucked up in bed. Marvel at the brilliance of Tchaikovsky’s score, as Clara and her enchanted Nutcracker fight the Mouse King and visit the Sugar Plum Fairy in the glittering Kingdom of Sweets. Peter Wright’s much-loved production for The Royal Ballet, with gorgeous period designs by Julia Trevelyan Oman, keeps true to the spirit of this festive ballet classic, combining the thrill of the fairy tale with spectacular dancing.
