Manhattan Concert Productions is excited to announce Anastasia as the next production in its renowned BROADWAY SERIES taking the stage at David Geffen Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City on February 15, 2025. Since its debut in 2013, Manhattan Concert Productions’ BROADWAY SERIES has brought the magic of Broadway to life with unforgettable concert performances. Our inaugural show, a sold-out concert performance of Ragtime, featured a star-studded cast including Michael Arden, Phillip Boykin, Kerry Butler, Matt Cavenaugh, Lilla Crawfod, and Tyne Daly. Accompanied by a chorus of over 200 singers and the renowned New York City Chamber Orchestra, this performance set the stage for our tradition of excellence.

Join Heather Buchanan for a special performance of Dan Forrest’s the breath of life. The festival chorus will perform with the New York City Chamber Orchestra and soloists as part of MCP’s Masterwork Series. Singers will represent a variety of ensembles from across the country.

Ryan Person serves as director of choral activities and associate professor of music at Morningside University in Sioux City, Iowa. At Morningside, he conducts the forty-member Morningside Choir, which has been celebrated for its exceptional choral artistry and eclectic programming. The ensemble recently performed at ACDA National Conference, ACDA Midwestern Region Conference, and was selected as the winner of The American Prize in Choral Performance (College/University Division), a comprehensive national performing arts competition. Under Person’s direction, The Morningside Choir has traveled to continental and international locations, including South Africa, Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic.

Dr. Felicia Barber is the Associate Professor, Adjunct, of Choral Conducting at Yale University and conductor of the Camerata. In addition to teaching graduate-level choral conductors and aspiring undergraduate conductors, Dr. Barber is developing a new initiative designed to prepare Yale students to work with young musicians on choral music in school and church settings.

Performance opportunities for qualified bands & orchestras on a ticketed daytime concert, with the inclusion of a private clinic session with one of our nationally-recognized educators, Gary Lewis (Orchestra) or Peter Boonshaft (Band).

Join Katherine Chan for a special performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria. The festival chorus will perform with the mcp.us/nycco">New York City Chamber Orchestra and soloists as part of MCP’s Masterwork Series. Singers will represent a variety of ensembles from across the country.

Join Derrick Fox and perform Robert Ray’s seminal work, Gospel Mass. This mass sets the words from the Catholic Mass to the rhythm and harmony of African-American music. The festival chorus will perform with a combo of professional jazz musicians from New York City as part of MCP’s Meno Masterworks Series. Singers will represent a variety of ensembles from across the country.

Performance opportunities for qualified bands & orchestras on a ticketed daytime concert, with the inclusion of a private clinic session with one of our nationally-recognized educators, Doug Droste (Orchestra) or Henry Dorn (Band).

Dr. Cameron Weatherford serves as Assistant Professor of Choral Music at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee where he conducts the Ladies of Lee, Choral Union, and teaches courses in the undergraduate and graduate choral music curriculum. Prior to coming to Lee, he served as the Chair of the Division of Fine Arts and Director of Choral Activities at Louisiana College in Pineville, Louisiana.

Join Allen Hightower for an awe-inspiring performance of Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass (Missa in Angustiis Hob. XXII:11). The festival chorus will perform with the mcp.us/nycco">New York City Chamber Orchestra and soloists as part of MCP’s Masterwork Series. Singers will represent a variety of ensembles from across the country.
