Music Director finalist Alexandra Arrieche presents a varied array of musical riches with your Marin Symphony. Marquez’s suave Danzon #2 sets the stage for Marin Symphony’s superstar Principal Piano John Wilson’s rendition of Grieg’s celebrated concerto. We close with one of Elgar’s greatest works, his tantalizing Enigma Variations.

2. Marin Symphony Pops 2025: Star Wars & More – The Music Of John Williams

What would a movie be without its powerful score? Composer John Williams brought movies like Star Wars, E.T., Harry Potter, Schindler’s List, and Jaws to life with his remarkable ability to give films a musical voice. Celebrate the music of this Academy Award winner under the baton of principal pops conductor Stuart Chafetz, and don’t miss this extravaganza featuring the spectacular sounds of the Marin Symphony!

3. Chamber Music 2: Debussy, Ravel, And The Harp!

Harp takes center stage in this program of French masterworks. Marin Symphony starts perform Debussy’s ineffable Sonata, which inspired an entire repertoire for flute, viola, and harp, alongside Ravel’s effervescent and virtuosic work.

4. Marin Symphony Chorus 2025: The Genius Of Mozart

Last season we created a concert putting the spotlight on our wonderful Marin Symphony Chorus. It was a huge success, so we’re doing it again! Under the direction of Kevin Fox, and joined by Marin Symphony players, come and enjoy the genius of Mozart with this fine choral ensemble.

5. Masterworks 3: Haimor Conducts Dvorak

Music Director finalist Fawzi Haimor starts the festivities with Ramal, by the talented Syrian/American Kareem Roustom. Marin Symphony Principal Flute MyungJu Yeo and Principal Harp Dan Levitan join forces in Mozart’s charming double concerto, and we end with the abundant joys of Dvořák’s final Symphony.

6. Masterworks 4: Hogarth Conducts Firebird

We end our season with our fourth Music Director finalist Brad Hogarth in a wonderfully wide-ranging program. We start and end with fire, traversing the centuries from Handel’s celebratory Fireworks to Stravinsky’s fantastical Firebird. Marin Symphony Concertmaster, the redoubtable Ani Bukujian, steps forward in Prokofiev’s flavorful, virtuosic concerto.
