Experience Mussorgsky’s vivid musical translation of watercolours and drawings by the composer’s friend, Viktor Hartmann. Mussorgsky’s work was later orchestrated by Maurice Ravel, who added a vast palette of symphonic colour when he orchestrated the suite, further adding to the evocative depictions of Parisian gardens, Roman catacombs and the majestic Great Gate of Kiev.
