Masaaki Suzuki: conductor; harpsichordist; organist; justly acclaimed interpreter of Baroque music; legend. We are honoured and thrilled to welcome Maestro Suzuki to deliver what Gramophone describes as “interpretations at once so thoughtful and thought-provoking, all within an aura of spontaneous delight.”

It’s a bug’s life in Roussel’s The Spider’s Feast, a suite depicting the insects found in a garden. This special performance moves from the garden to the Aotearoa New Zealand native bush with Giant Wetas, Huhu Grubs and all the fluttering life found in the forest. One thing is always clear, the spider is always looking for lunch. This work is guaranteed to make the kids laugh, smile, and squirm!
