Known principally as the vocalist, lead guitarist and composer for The Moody Blues, Justin Hayward’s enduring talent has helped to define an era of British rock. Over the last forty-five years he and his band have sold fifty-five million albums and received countless awards. For Justin Hayward, commercial success has gone hand in hand with critical acclaim, as he and the Moody Blues are renowned worldwide as innovators who have influenced numerous fellow artists. In 2018, The Moody Blues were inducted into the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Micky Dolenz is a musician, actor, director, producer, and all around performer extraordinaire best known as a vocalist and drummer of the 1960’s pop legends The Monkees. The Monkees not only achieved great success on their TV show, but as recording artists, selling more than 65 million units and achieving worldwide success. Micky sings lead vocals on two of The Monkees #1 singles, “Last Train to Clarksville,” and “I’m a Believer”, and features prominently on “Daydream Believer.”
Mark Farner is one of the founding members, lead singer and guitarist of the Grand Funk Railroad, writing 90% of their catalog. He has always been known as an energetic force on stage, and is considered to be the engine that pulled the original Grand Funk to the top of the charts.

Christmas With The Celts return for two performances at the Playhouse! This family favorite holiday show is a wonderful combination of timeless Irish Christmas Carols, lively Irish Dance, and contemporary songs performed with Irish instrumentation. Each year, the Celts add new Christmas hits, Celts originals, and fresh Irish Dance tunes so that no performance is the same.
The multi award-winning production of Noël Coward’s provocative comedy featuring Andrew Scott (Vanya, Fleabag) returns to the big screen. As he prepares to embark on an overseas tour, star actor Garry Essendine’s colorful life is in danger of spiraling out of control. Engulfed by an escalating identity crisis as his many and various relationships compete for his attention, Garry’s few remaining days at home are a chaotic whirlwind of love, sex, panic and soul-searching. Filmed live from The Old Vic in London during a sold out run in 2019, Matthew Warchus (Matilda the Musical) directs this giddy and surprisingly modern reflection on fame, desire and loneliness.

American soprano Angel Blue headlines as the Ethiopian princess torn between love and country in a new production of Verdi’s Aida by Michael Mayer that brings audiences inside the towering pyramids and gilded tombs of ancient Egypt with intricate projections and dazzling animations. Romanian-Hungarian mezzo-soprano Judit Kutasi also stars as Aida’s rival, Amneris, alongside Polish tenor Piotr Beczała as the soldier Radamès—completing opera’s greatest love triangle. Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium to conduct the January 25 performance, which will be transmitted live from the Metropolitan Opera stage to cinemas worldwide.
Following a string of awe-inspiring Live in HD performances, Norwegian soprano Lise Davidsen returns to the Metropolitan Opera as Leonore, the faithful wife who risks everything to save her husband from the clutches of tyranny in Beethoven’s Fidelio. Completing the distinguished cast is British tenor David Butt Philip as the political prisoner Florestan, Polish bass-baritone Tomasz Konieczny as the villainous Don Pizarro, veteran German bass René Pape as the jailer Rocco, Chinese soprano Ying Fang and German tenor Magnus Dietrich as the young Marzelline and Jaquino, and Danish bass Stephen Milling as the principled Don Fernando. Susanna Mälkki conducts the March 15 performance, which will be transmitted live from the Met stage to cinemas worldwide.
Met Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin takes the podium on May 17 to conduct Strauss’s one-act tragedy, which will be transmitted live from the Metropolitan Opera stage to cinemas worldwide. Leading the company’s first new production of the work in 20 years, Claus Guth, one of Europe’s leading opera directors, gives the biblical story a psychologically perceptive Victorian-era setting. South African soprano Elza van den Heever leads a celebrated cast as the abused and unhinged antiheroine, with Swedish baritone Peter Mattei as the imprisoned prophet Jochanaan; German tenor Gerhard Siegel as Salome’s lecherous stepfather, King Herod; American mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung as his wife, Herodias; and Polish tenor Piotr Buszewski as Narraboth.
