With performances ranging from energizing musical experiences to heartwarming charity events, this year's line-up is designed to delight music lovers and theatre enthusiasts alike.
Magical Musical Mystery Tour? you ask. Good question, we say – one which will be answered in due course. Saith Shakespeare, “How sweet the moonlight sleeps upon this bank! Here will we sit, and let the sounds of music creep in our ears: soft stillness and the night become the touches of sweet harmony.” (The Merchant of Venice) Think: Beatles and Big Band and Tolkien and a large pink cat.
Soo Sings is so excited to be back on the stage! For over 10 years Soo Sings has been bringing together local businesses to raise funds for local children’s charities through a fun workplace glee competition. Since 2013, Soo Sings has raised more than $120,000 for local children’s charities. This year we have eight teams who – with great enthusiasm, dedication, and excitement – have prepared a song and dance for tonights show. There is no doubt that you are in for a night of joy, laughter, and heart-warming vibes.
This hit-after-hit show is a true Johnny Cash experience that celebrates the music and life of ‘The Man In Black’ and his fun-loving wife, June Carter. This concert covers the entire career of Johnny Cash from the 1950s at Sun Records to 2003 with the American Recordings label and includes Johnny’s biggest hits Ring of Fire, Boy Named Sue, I Walk The Line, Folsom Prison Blues, Hurt, and the famous duet Jackson sung with June Carter amongst many other classic songs.
Back to the 80s is Ontario’s premier tribute band to the beloved era of neon colours, and iconic music. Led by a group of seasoned musicians with decades of experience, Back to the 80s delivers an unforgettable experience that transports audiences straight back to the golden age of MTV. From the moment they take the stage, Back to the 80s fully immerses audiences in the sights and sounds of the era. With their signature retro-style costumes, expertly crafted sets, and electrifying energy, the band captures the spirit of the 80s in all its glory.
Get the electrifying concert experience of Tina Turner, brimming with iconic hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s. Featuring the powerful, raspy vocals, high-intensity dancing and thrilling stage presence of South African Caroline Borole (as seen on South African Idols) live on stage, complete with her international band, brass section, backing vocalists and dancers to make this SIMPLY THE BEST tribute to the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Tina Turner.
