The 7 Fingers return after their highly successful Cuisine & Confessions in 2017 and this time bring their captivating artistry to the Staller Center with the powerful and creative Duel Reality for two big shows! This otherworldly production showcases their unique blend of circus, theatre, illusion, music, and dance, creating a jaw-dropping performance for audiences of all ages. Set against the backdrop of a tale reminiscent of Romeo and Juliet, two warring families clash in a series of thrilling challenges, each more daring than the last. Amidst the chaos, two lovers fight to break free, proving that their connection goes beyond the competition. Do they truly care about the outcome, or is the journey together what matters most? The next concert in the Emerson Legacy Series, featuring former Emerson String Quartet cellist Paul Watkins and famed soprano Christine Goerke in an exciting and unique classical and cabaret program. Settle down for an intimate evening of classical music and cabaret, featuring Emerson String Quartet cellist Paul Watkins (on piano!) alongside Stony Brook University alumna and Metropolitan Opera star Christine Goerke. The pair will be joined by Emerson String Quartet members Eugene Drucker, violin, and Larry Dutton, viola, for an enthralling classical and cabaret program.

Stony Brook Opera is thrilled to present an elegant double bill of Massenet’s Le portrait de Manon and Debussy’s L’enfant prodigue, sung in French with projected English titles. These two French operas, both premiered in 1884, cast the established French romantic composer Massenet against the then young Debussy’s Prix de Rome winning work of L’enfant prodigue.
