1. A Baroque Christmas
Deviating slightly from our Music Speaks theme, we will be offering A Baroque Christmas. Our own flute section of Stephanie LUPO & Clara CAPRIOTTI and concertmistress Rebekah COPE-EVERS will be appearing as soloists in J.S. BACH’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major. The Kvso Chorus" class="css-u850">KVSO Chorus will perform the entirety of Antonio VIVALDI’s Gloria in D Major as well as selections from G.F. HANDEL’s Messiah. The KVSO will also perform Franz Josef HAYDN’s Symphony No. 96 in D Major “The Miracle” and there will also be an opportunity for audience participation, as singers, during this concert.

2. Concert: Music Speaks of Amour
Amour (Love) is the theme for our February concert. Cleveland, Ohio-based violinist Andrew SORDS will be joining us for Pyotr Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY’s Violin Concerto in D Major. Franz Peter SCHUBERT’s Rosamunde Overture and Ernest CHAUSSON’s Symphony No. 2 in B-flat Major round out the program.

3. Concert: Music Speaks of Light
Our 2024-2025 Season Finale! This All-Orchestra program, focused on Light in the form of moving from darkness to light, will again feature the KVSO Chorus. This time, they will join the KVSO for a performance of Elaine HAGENBERG’s Illuminare with texts taken from St. Ambrose, Hildegard von Bingen, Aurelius Clemens, Pope Gregory, The Gospel of John and the Canticle of Zecharia.
