Our Theatre Tours give you a unique look at how a busy theatre operates. These tours aim to take you behind the scenes to view the The Lyric auditorium from the stage, the flexible format of The Drum, our smallest performance space in The Lab, the orchestra pit, the trap-rooms and front-of-house areas. Glimpse inside the dressing rooms, wings and backstage areas, and experience some of the theatricality, heritage and tradition all in the company of our experienced and knowledgeable technical and Front of House teams.

RM Band Plymouth is based at HMS Raleigh in Torpoint, Cornwall. The band undertakes a wide variety of ceremonial work of national importance, as well as fulfilling its main role of providing music for the ships and establishments of the Royal Navy. Having been involved in both local and national commemorations in 2022 and 2023, the band, with their elective mix of music, is looking forward to performing to their local audience.

Cameron Mackintosh and Disney’s spectacular production of the classic multi award-winning musical Mary Poppins will embark on a 2024/2025 UK and Ireland tour from November. Acclaimed Australian stars, Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers reprise their roles as Mary Poppins and Bert, having both received critical acclaim and nightly standing ovations for their performances in the recent Australian production.

The Broadway and West End phenomenon, Kinky Boots The Musical, is strutting back to Plymouth in a brand-new production starring Strictly Come Dancing’s Johannes Radebe and rising star Dan Partridge. This joy-filled sensation, based on a true story and hit movie, features Tony® and Grammy® winning music and lyrics by pop icon Cyndi Lauper, a hilarious and life-affirming book by Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein and is directed by Nikolai Foster (Grease and The Wizard of Oz).
