1. TRP Theatre Tours
Our Theatre Tours give you a unique look at how a busy theatre operates. These tours aim to take you behind the scenes to view the The Lyric auditorium from the stage, the flexible format of The Drum, our smallest performance space in The Lab, the orchestra pit, the trap-rooms and front-of-house areas. Glimpse inside the dressing rooms, wings and backstage areas, and experience some of the theatricality, heritage and tradition all in the company of our experienced and knowledgeable technical and Front of House teams.

2. Open Class: FUSE 2024
We are thrilled to be offering an open contemporary class for dancers to move, connect and revive. Each session will incorporate a mix of technique, improvisation and creative provocations ending with time for dialogue and connection. The class is suited to professional dance artists as well as other creatives who want to delve into a new form. Led by Tom Jackson Greaves alongside other local professional movement artists.

Join Santa as he awakes from a dream of sun, sea and sand only to find it is the busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve. Watch as he prepares for his Christmas deliveries, feeds his reindeer and finally takes flight into the snowy night.

4. War Horse
The National Theatre’s acclaimed production returns in an all-new UK and Ireland tour. War Horse is an unforgettable theatrical experience which takes audiences on an extraordinary journey from the fields of rural Devon to the trenches of First World War France. Based on the beloved novel by Michael Morpurgo, this powerfully moving and imaginative drama, filled with stirring music and songs, is a show of phenomenal inventiveness. At its heart are astonishing life-sized horses by South Africa’s Handspring Puppet Company, who bring breathing, galloping, charging horses to thrilling life on stage.

6. War Horse: Puppetry Workshop
Led by a member of the War Horse puppetry team, this workshop is designed to give participants a hands-on understanding of how to create characters through puppetry and physicality. The workshop will provide you with a taste of the devising process through which Joey and the other horses of the show are brought to life, and how the puppeteers respond to both one another and other actors on stage to conjure the animals at the heart of War Horse. This workshop may also be supported by members of the War Horse company.

7. The Star Who Danced
It’s a frosty Christmas Eve and everyone is tucked up in bed, But above our heads a shooting star begins its journey. A sparkling dance across the sky, weaving through the clouds, gliding with the birds and skimming past the snowflakes! A sensory delight for 0-3 year olds, this non-verbal show will engage young audiences through beautiful dance, live music and light. The performance will end with space for further exploration, play and festive photos.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery. Throw in a magical mirror, the magnificent seven and plenty of audience participation and you have the perfect recipe to outwit the Wicked Queen and let love prevail in this glittering festive treat for all ages. Birds of a Feather star Lesley Joseph will star as The Wicked Queen, with broadcaster and barrister Rob Rinder as The Man In The Mirror, comedian Andy Ford as Muddles and West End stars Samuel Holmes and Scott Maurice as The Governess and The Prince.
