Center Stage Strings (CSS) – one of SMTD’s MPulse performing arts summer programs for youth – welcomes the public to a series of live concerts, free to attend in-person on campus or to watch from anywhere via livestream.

As part of U-M’s MPulse summer programs for high school aged youth, the MPulse Saxophone Institute led by SMTD Professor Timothy McAllister includes courses on warm-ups, saxophone techniques, reeds, aural skills, music history, working with a pianist, saxophone quartet & saxophone ensemble, and daily masterclasses.
