New vocal music needs a permanent place in the Austrian music scene: Since the dissolution of the ORF Choir, there has been no instrument for young composers in this country for a long time, which has led to composition classes continuing to primarily focus on instrumental music, resulting in little contemporary vocal music being created. We want to break this cycle and establish a permanent meeting place for new vocal music:
