Le Trouvère is an opera by Giuseppe Verdi, a French version of Il Trovatore. The story is about two brothers, separated at birth under tragic circumstances, who unknowingly become enemies. Manrico, has been raised as a troubadour, while the other, Count di Luna, grows up as a nobleman. Their rivalry leads to war, love triangles, and a tragic ending when one brother accidentally orders the execution of the other. They do not realise they are brothers until much later.
