Drummer

Traditional, swinging jazz with standards from the Count Basie, Duke Ellington and Dizzy Gillespie repertoires. Concert followed by two dance sets at Äpplet.

Äpplet

Ellington's spirit permeates the entire program, which flows freely between Duke's own classics, more unusual Ellingtonia and vague associations.

Stockholm Swing All Stars – In The Spirit Of Duke Ellington

Göteborgs Symfoniker

The swingingest, coolest, and all-around best jazz tunes from the past and present, played in new arrangements written by and for the band. Some of the hits sound like the originals, but "Fly Me To The Moon" might turn into a ballad, and "Summertime" might be played as a lightning-fast bebop. But you'll recognize them, and you're sure to enjoy and swing along with some of Sweden's finest jazz musicians.
