In Program: Songs by Karol Szymanowski, “You who wronged a Simple Man” for voice and strings by Czesław Miłosz / Adrian Sylveen (world premiere), selected “Concert Carols” by Feliks Nowowiejski, and a world premiere of a new commission by the Connecticut Virtuosi “A Nocturn for Violin and String Orchestra” by American Italian composer (and a great friend of the Ensemble) Ernesto Ferreri. Also in program, traditional Christmas Carols with the Moniuszko Choir.
