The Cumnock Tryst" class="css-u850" data-mark-multiple="true">The Cumnock Tryst is delighted to present the official launch of our new chamber group The Cumnock Tryst Ensemble. Created with cellist Christian Elliott, this is a flexible ensemble consisting of some of Scotland’s finest musicians who have had an association with us over the last few years.

At 6:30pm on Saturday, April 22rd, 2023, the Symphony will present its annual Chamber Music Festival in the Vert Clubroom (located in the basement of the Vert Auditorium). The Chamber Music Festival features a variety of small ensembles performing chamber works with a generous spread of hors d’oeuvres and beverages provided by the Oregon East Symphony’s volunteer Board of Directors.

Sierra’s Avian Mirrors and Doolittle’s Field Guide bring us into the world of birdsong mimicry with a rich interplay between birds, while Bauckholt’s Doppelbelichtung presents photographically accurate transcriptions of bird calls with great intensity. Terranova’s Rainbow Dust in the Sky and Grime’s To see the summer sky take us into the evocative world of birds with msuic that is both ethereal and fierce.
