Organist

A both beautiful and festive concert with Hammond organ, saxophone and drums. The repertoire is by Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and the band's members, and the music is released on the CD "Come Sunday". Improvisation, interplay and presence are in focus, and the concert also includes a tribute to American gospel organists.

Bobo Moreno is one of the few Danish singers who masters so many musical genres. He moves effortlessly in genres such as pop, rock, jazz and soul. For this concert, it is precisely soul music that is the focal point for Bobo Moreno & The Soul Shakers.

Violinist Caroline Bugala visits Silkeborg again with Kjeld Lauritsen's Hammond trio. Caroline spontaneously showed up to one of Kjeld Lauritsen's jam sessions at La Fontaine a few years ago and wowed the audience with her fantastic playing. Before she had played her 2 numbers, she was engaged for a concert at the venue, and she has been a dear guest ever since. Her playing is rooted in many years of studying classical violin, but when she encountered jazz, a great love was born. Caroline's eminent technique and deep roots in swinging gypsy jazz provide the basis for this concert that reaches far and wide with detours to blues, Latin American music and tango. Kjeld Lauritsen Trio is expanded on this occasion with master guitarist Uffe Steen.
