When Beethoven was allowed to go out into the country, he was immediately in a good mood. Join chief conductor Martyn Brabbins out into nature where we can join the happy composer in the Pastoral Symphony and enjoy the babbling brook where the nightingale sings its trill. Our own brilliant concertmaster Marika Fältskog gently coaxes the lark's poetic flight from her violin in The Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

The superduo Simon Crawford-Phillips and Malin Broman offer a full evening in the spirit of Swedish music. There will be a world premiere of Benjamin Staern's The Eternal, followed by solo juggling in Daniel Börtz's Double Concerto for One. It all lands softly in Mozart's lovely Thirty-ninth Symphony.
