But it is turned upside down when her boyfriend Rasmus tells her that he has got a job as a teacher at a high school in Velling! A small place on the west coast of Jutland, where the grass stands horizontally in the wind, and where sentences are few and short. How is she, who loves words, supposed to function in that society? In the performance, everyone is invited to a condensed musical high school stay in Velling. We meet the Velling residents, the wild hotel owner Krisser, the patient driving instructor, parking Peter and many others.
