Odd Fellow Palæets Have

She's only in her 30s and living the city life. Sweet boyfriend, lovely apartment, newborn baby. It all works. But it's turned upside down when her boyfriend tells her that he's got a job as a teacher at a college in Velling! A small spot on the west coast of Jutland, where the grass stands horizontally in the wind, and where sentences are few and short. How is she supposed to function in that society, with her great love of words? Because what do people from West Jutland actually think about in the pauses between their sentences? And how does she avoid filling the silence with gibberish?

She is a city girl, in her early 30s with a sweet boyfriend, a lovely apartment and a newborn baby. It all plays out. But it is turned upside down when her boyfriend Rasmus tells her that he has got a job as a teacher at a high school in Velling! A small place on the west coast of Jutland, where the grass stands horizontally in the wind, and where sentences are few and short. How is she, who loves words, supposed to function in that society? In the performance, everyone is invited to a condensed musical high school stay in Velling. We meet the Velling residents, the wild hotel owner Krisser, the patient driving instructor, parking Peter and many others.
