And who is prepared to lie and invent worlds to get what she misses. It is a story about how lying can become a necessity for people.

Notes on Blanche

The ex-soldier Woyzeck loves his wife Marie. Trapped in a system that exploits him, he struggles every day to support his family and make his life work. To earn money, he participates in medical experiments where he is only allowed to eat peas. Hunger, humiliation and powerlessness etch their way into his mind. Reality begins to crumble, and the war he knows from his service invades his thoughts. Jealousy grows and turns into an obsession that leads him towards a fateful deroute.
