Carolina Chauffe, the voice and songwriting force behind the project hemlock, returns to their hometown of Lafayette, LA for a collaborative performance featuring a one-night-only cast of notable Louisiana inspirations, mentors, and friends. They invite you to experience an intimate and immersive listening experience in the very place that they began their performance career Formed in 2018, hemlock is the “phone-fi” alt-folk project of the swamp-raised, multi-disciplinary creative force Carolina Chauffe and various rotating collaborators, currently anchored between Louisiana, Austin, and Chicago, but more often on the highway. Chauffe was born and came of age in Lafayette, Louisiana, co-fronting the local act Shrugs before moving across the map, from Astoria, OR to Chicago, IL and beyond.
