Hey, what's the point of cheating a little when no one notices - doesn't everyone?

THE SANJAY SHAH SHIT SHOWdepicts a tragicomic story about our trust in SKAT, and about the 12.7 billion DKK that we, the Danish taxpayers, have been defrauded of by the British-Indian businessman Sanjay Shah. The current dividend scandal case is pushed forward with rhythm and music by the virtuoso drummer and composerEmil de Waal, while the award-winning actorIna-Miriam Rosenbaumplays all the roles on stage. In a mix of music, satire, stand-up, drama and documentary, she is the employees of SKAT, the foreign shareholders, the Danish politicians and civil servants and not least Sanjay Shah.

We unfortunately lost our beloved clarinetist and friend Elith 'Nulle' Nykjær at the end of 2023.
 
In Nulle's spirit, we will continue to play our common music with deep roots in tradition and at the same time a great degree of freedom, openness and innovation, as we have done on our five albums together.
 
We create unique and modern versions of Danish and American classics by such diverse Danish composers as, among others,  Sidney Bechet,  John Mogensen, Hans Henrik Ley, Aske Bentzon, Kenneth Knudsen, Fats Waller, Bessie Smith and Sven Gyldmark.
