A tribute to Flemming Bamse Jørgensen.

Stig and the original musicians from Bamses Venner revive – with love and respect – well-known and beloved hits such as “Vimmersvej”, “Jeg elsker kun dig”, “Kongens Have”, “Hvorfor går Louise til bal?” and “I en lille båt der gynger”.

You know Stig Rossen – and the Friends are the remaining members of Bamses Venner: Peter Bødker (keyboard, guitar), Frank Thøgersen (drums) and Allan Nagel (bass).

Stig & Vennerne was formed in 2011 by Stig Rossen and the remaining members of Bamses Venner. After Flemming Bamse Jørgensen's unexpected death, Stig offered to perform at one of the concerts that had already been planned before his passing.

No Christmas without Stig Rossen and the Christmas Concert of the Year  –  this of course also applies in 2025, when Stig travels all over the country to spread the Christmas spirit.

Everything exudes Christmas cheer when the fire glows in the large fireplace in the middle of the stage, which is adorned with beautifully decorated Christmas trees and lanterns.

This year's Christmas Concert will of course be held again in 2025 throughout the country with Stig Rossen leading the large team of musicians, choir singers, guest soloists, sound and lighting personnel, crew and drivers.

Our guest soloist this year is Isabel Schwartzbach, who we are excited to introduce. Isabel most recently played the lead role of Maria in The Sound Of Music atThe New Theatre.

In 2024, the Christmas Concert of the Year celebrated its 30th anniversary with 26 sold-out concerts across the country, and the wonderful Christmas tradition for the whole family will continue in 2025. The anniversary was marked by the release of Stig Rossen's fifth Christmas album, Julefred, which has already helped create coziness and a Christmas atmosphere in many homes. Once again, the audience can look forward to hearing some of the Christmas songs that have become a regular part of the Christmas Concert of the Year, as well as brand new songs written especially for the Christmas tour.
