“The Little Mermaid and the Prince” takes place in a swimming pool and is a theatrical concert about a mermaid and a prince who longingly communicate with each other through music. They fall in love, but in order for the mermaid to come to land and be with the prince, she must give up her voice in exchange.

It will be an almost magical experience to experience a “real” mermaid in her true element; the mysterious figure who never speaks, but sings unearthly beautifully in foreign languages. At the same time, she resembles the mermaid from the fairy tale with her tail, seashells, flowers and long hair. She moves in and around the water, while the prince sits on land and plays to her on the cello. The music is selected from the classical repertoire – both pieces for solo cello and opera songs.
