“Life blues” was what Berlingske’s reviewer called the special genre that The Savage Rose has cultivated since its inception in 1967 – and which blossomed as beautifully and strongly as ever on the 2012 album “Love And Freedom”, which was hailed as one of the band’s best releases ever. As always, with the charismatic Annisette as the vocal and visual focal point in a series of songs that take “a beautiful embrace of life, love and the rest to freedom”, as Berlingske’s review stated.
