Philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche's meeting with Richard Wagner is the start of an intense friendship and an equally dramatic break. In the newly written musical theatre performance by Joakim Sten, we meet actor Jonas Karlsson who, while hiking on a Swiss alpine peak, reevaluates a musical genius.

The philosopher Nietzsche based his entire thinking on music. When he met the great composer Richard Wagner as a young man, he was overwhelmed – both artistically and intellectually. Wagner befriended him, had him write lyrics that praised Wagner himself, and shaped him into his ideological disciple. But as Nietzsche began to see through his mentor and despise his growing anti-Semitism, the questions grew: Where will this lead? What kind of world will this create?
