Pianist

An old summer house is to be sold, and with it memories that have long been buried in the marshes of Norrland are brought to life. Night Hunter draws us into a gripping family drama where we meet different people in the shadow of an unimaginable tragedy.

Through four characters – the son as a young man, the son as an adult, the grandfather and the elk hunter who once found the dead man out in the bog – the film explores Night Hunter different ways of experiencing, avoiding or approaching life's darkest moments. In the search, repressed feelings of guilt and anger emerge, but also a complex love between father and son.
