New Friday is a concert series for the curious listener eager to explore the innovative music of our time. The ensemble Lipparella constantly initiates new collaborations to explore the intersection between the sound world of Baroque instruments and the musical language of our own time. The group often works with singers and instrumentalists in various projects. At this concert, the focus is on the vocal, with soprano Alexandra Büchel – one of Sweden’s leading interpreters of contemporary music – as soloist.
