Netherlands-based saxophone ensemble Trio Abril brings its unique take on the traditional piano trio to Baton Rouge with a chamber concert perfect for the intimate setting of St. Alban's Chapel. Trio Abril is led by Dutch saxophonist Arno Bornkamp, who is celebrated for his virtuosic lyricism, his commitment to both historic and contemporary repertoire, and his influential role as a teacher at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Joining him are Frank van de Laar (piano) and Juani Palop (saxophones), presenting an exciting program you won't want to miss.
