One day in April 1940, Karin Boye steps into the Palladium with a sheaf of papers in her hand. Doctor Iwan Bratt and music director Torsten Rantzén look at her in surprise and interrupt the rehearsal of "The Princess in the Magic Forest" before the Housewives' Association concert. She is writing a new novel and wants to discuss the state of the world. - What does the future look like for humanity?
