"The Pancake Cake" is perhaps the most beloved book of all Sven Nordqvist's books about Pettson & Findus. The play, which is based on the book, tells the story of when the cat turns three years old, which he does three times a year!
As always, when Findus turns three, a pancake cake is baked. It is soon discovered that the flour has run out and Pettson decides to cycle to the store
to buy the necessary things. But - then it turns out that there is a puncture on the bicycle tire, and that is when things get really complicated. Everything is eventually resolved, and even the neighbor Gustafsson is invited to
the pancake cake party.
