Twenty-seven-time Grammy winner Alison Krauss reveals today that Alison Krauss & Union Station Featuring Jerry Douglas will embark on their first tour together in a decade next year. The Arcadia 2025 Tour will see the acclaimed group playing 73 dates across the United States and Canada in 2025, including a stop at Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on Saturday, September 6 at 7:30 p.m. They are also set to release new music next year.

After a ten-year hiatus, Alison Krauss & Union Station reunite with dobro player and International Bluegrass Hall of Famer Jerry Douglas for a new tour and a new album. Arcadia continues the group’s nearly four-decade legacy as one of the most celebrated acts in bluegrass—a legacy cemented with sold-out shows at prestigious venues and Grammy Award-winning albums Every Time You Say Goodbye, So Long So Wrong, New Favorite, and Paper Airplane. United by a singular focus, these five unparalleled musicians combine to create a sound that’s both immaculately crafted and endlessly surprising. Soon before Willie Watson turned 18, he met God in an apple orchard. Or at the very least, he met there a man named Ruby Love, the older friend of a high-school buddy. Also, Love had an enormous Martin guitar and a seemingly bigger understanding of the American folk songbook. Watson, a high-school dropout from upstate New York’s Finger Lakes, was existentially thirsty. Furthermore, he was fast on his way to his first heartbreak and in a first band that didn’t take itself seriously enough. Then, in that magical apple orchard, Watson and Love sang those old songs together: “Worried Man Blues” and “Tennessee Waltz.”

Since getting their start busking on street corners back in 1998, Old Crow Medicine Show have emerged as one of the most potent and influentialforces in American roots music.
