Join the Spokane Symphony for a monumental celebration of the 50th anniversary of Expo ’74 with "Masterworks 9: Expo ’74" on May 11 and 12, 2024, at The Fox Theater, Spokane, WA. This special event, under the baton of James Lowe and featuring soprano Dawn Wolski, revisits the music that defined the season of the Spokane Expo ’74.

The concert will showcase an exquisite selection of classical masterpieces, including Dmitri Shostakovich's "Festive Overture, Op.96," Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Exsultate, jubilate, K.165," Riccardo Drigo's "Pas de Deux from Le Corsaire," and Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's "Symphony No. 4 in F minor, Op.36."

Enhance your experience with "Masterworks & Mimosas" on Saturday, May 11th, at 10am for a behind-the-scenes look at the symphony's final rehearsal, complete with mimosas, coffee, and gourmet pastries. Or, join Music Director James Lowe for the "LoweDown" on Thursday, May 9th at Noon, a free talk about the music at the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture MAC.
